cool, I like that you code your tools using the elk, it was not the 1st time I saw such a screenshot and it always makes me smile . I as a late comer I never coded in BASIC for the machine but I tried some little things out like inline assembly which is very rare in other machines. BBC BASIC is top.

Another level in the bag - looks easier than it is!
Trying to address the difficulty progression - which actually has the DUCK introduced earlier than level 9!
Level:
1 - Easy, a few hens
2 - Harder, a few hens
3 - Easy, DUCK only
4 - Harder, hens and lift
5 - Hard, hens
6 - Hard, DUCK only
etc...

More messing with the tape loader !
Many thanks to @0xc0de.bsky.social 's recent Repton 1 loader disassembly, I've put in a (non-Microsoft) progress bar !
It's nice to have the tape blocks counting up, but if you don't know what number they go up to, one could get quite impatient ! 😅

More messing with the tape loader !
Many thanks to @0xc0de.bsky.social 's recent Repton 1 loader disassembly, I've put in a (non-Microsoft) progress bar !
It's nice to have the tape blocks counting up, but if you don't know what number they go up to, one could get quite impatient ! 😅

Keyboard looking a lot better - probably needs one more going over. A lot of rust spots / pitting on the black metal frame, I guess someone threw a can of Quattro over it at some point !
