All photography is about how light interacts with the subject, no matter if its a person or a tree. Where is the light, how large, color, what will the bounce do? These are all questions that we should ask each time we set up, and images like these can help visualize that on a more micro scale.

I would have to go find it again, but this style was inspired by someone who was doing UV body paint, when I saw it I said you know what, I can do this a different way :)
