This mini painting thing has been a BLAST! To see how much I’ve improved with just 5-6 models is pretty cool.
Much more relaxing than I expected. It’s a very zen-like experience.
Any advice on making things less blotchy/clumpy looking? All suggestions welcome :)

So… I ended up jumping into VALKA from Terrible Games as it’s been on my SOS the longest.
After a casual hour of vids/rules/setup here’s how it went:

I spent some time this afternoon repurposing the elements from the rulebook to create my own Player Aids for the game. Trying to make double-sided half-page aids on card stock.

I gotta say… I’m really digging this mini painting thing!
Here are my first couple with dry bush technique. The chrome axe man is just a spray but he turned out kinda cool.
The rogue is the first. I slowed down on the mushroom zombie and I think it shows.

My goal is to come up with a method that isn’t so detail oriented, but still pays some respect to these incredible little sculptures.
I know these are not very impressive, but this first run was fun and I learned a great deal.
