So I have no care for Dauntless to be completely honest, but holy shit. Hearing about the recent update from a friend and seeing these screenshots just makes me ask "why?". Like why would you remove weapon crafting and build variety when that is one of the biggest parts of a Monster Hunter game??

These are only unlocked either by paying money, or by grinding your ass off in challenges or passes. This, along with a set of weapons you get through early quests: are the only weapons you can get in the game at the moment. A game all about monster hunting and making gear from them, doesn't have gear crafting for the weapons... wow.
