#Sourdough Update: Feel I could cook this a bit longer & base would really benefit from a baking stone (no Dutch oven, open baking). Also need to keep improving my shaping/tension as it burst open on the side, not at the score. Under/overproofed too? 🤷🏽♀️ SO much better than the last one tho.

This one on the other hand, this one is promising to be the best yet! Baby is puffy, jiggly, a little bit bubbly, holding her shape, and not sticky. Some parts of the internet - like Bluesky, and all the #sourdough tutorials elsewhere - are rly fab.

Yippee!! I finally made an edible loaf of #sourdough, with a mother I bred from scratch ✨ Guys I’m so happy cos if this one had failed too (it’s been weeks and weeks of trial and error) I was going to hydrate my starter with tears, and pack it all in! Any other home #bakers here? #bread #science
