🟥 During the night of Nov 3 in #Tbilisi, journalist for Media Checker Ninia Kakabadze was arrested.

According to witnesses, she was clearly identified as press and performing her journalistic duties at today’s protest.

Meanwhile, in front of the Parliament building, a solidarity rally was being held in support of the detained journalists.

Soon after, a large police force appeared on Rustaveli Avenue and began detaining protesters - including those who were standing on the sidewalk and not blocking the roadway.

The incident began when several protesters blocked the road. One woman, Tamar Kutateladze, climbed onto a patrol police car as an act of protest. She was arrested on criminal charges of hooliganism.

🚨 In #Tbilisi, around 10 police officers stopped and searched two young women - simply because one of them was wearing a medical face mask.
Police finally let them go - only after one of them took off her medical mask to show her dental treatment and their K-pop concert tickets.
