On a personal note: this was the first big event I was hands-on involved in organising—and I enjoyed it tremendously and learned so much along the way. The connections we made here go far beyond projects and grants, they’re for life. 🌍🍄🧫🔬🧪🧬 @bernardslippers.bsky.social @ms-fungi.bsky.social

I highlighted FABI’s impact on the project. I also engaged students who went overseas as part of the work packages by asking what Mycobiomics meant to them and created a word cloud from their responses.

Had a great brainstorming session with Andre Fleissner about Jenna's PhD transformation 🧫 🧬He showed us what a perfect experiment should look like. 🤓Then pointed out all the ways it could go wrong, with great tips on how to fix things when it does. Science: 10% plan, 90% problem-solving! 🔬😂
