I don’t use any book tracking thing but I do like it when huge monopolies have some competition.
Goodreads is owned by Jeff Bezos. A better alternative is StoryGraph, a Black woman-owned platform. And before y’all start, you can transfer all your Goodreads data to Storygraph so you literally have no excuse.

I’m annoyed that all the radio stations are playing Christmas music already because it really poured a bucket of ice water on my desire to put up the tree early. I know that’s childish, but I was giving myself a little treat and hearing the radio already doing it made it feel like I wasn’t ahead.

Once made cookies without a shirt on. Almost dropped the tray and did that thing where you use your torso to bump it back in the counter. Fine if you have a shirt. Bad if you don’t. That burn took a couple months to heal it was so bad.

Also let it be known that Ohio Amish country has a lot of good inexpensive fabric retailers. I just scored more than 100yrds of various fabrics for $70 total. I have a lot of youth costumes to make so it was an incredible score.
