James Bond is one of those franchises that you can start fresh and reboot it with new actors in the roles and nobody bats an eye.

The combination of being bombarded by right-wing propaganda on social media 24/7 as well as being triggered by being minorly inconvenienced during Covid broke so many people's brains. I think that's a big factor why the right is so unhinged and dangerous now.
