@chicagocta.bsky.social failing after Riot Fest. 40 minutes and no pink line downtown. Moved from Kedzie to Pulaski and we’ve gotten passed by Express and “not in service” trains. #riotfest certainly does suck when the train can’t keep up.

But I met some amazing new pups, cried over losing one the vols tried so hard to free, & gave another a rescue ride to OTAT. ❤️🩹

Spent all day yesterday judging a history fair (5.5 hours IRL + 4 prep & post) and all day today working on a project for OTAT’s big deal annual fundraiser. And tomorrow is my first ever 12-hour day on set. With Tues & Wed being the same. I don’t think I’m going to make it to Thursday. Halp. 💩😵💫💩

Helped out a solo foster parent today over my lunch break, walking a dog I met at the city shelter back in December, a week before she was saved by @onetailatatime.bsky.social. Grateful! What a sweetie. She did so well, silently dog curious (hate to say reactive 😂), went right back into her crate. 🩵

I think all the people I know leaving Facebook for Bluesky are going to be sorely disappointed (platforms are apples and oranges). For some reason I don’t feel the culture shock will be as bad for Insta folks.
