What do we learn from the failures of anarchist experiments at maintaining power and preventing their own collapse in the face of conflict from centralized forces

That was also Lenin’s end goal and he says as much in state and revolution. He just believed, like Marx, that a dictatorship of the proletariat was required to suppress the capitalist class and abolish class before communism could exist and the state could disappear

Do you believe that because your company exists, the systemic critique of capitalism as a whole system prioritizes profits over planetary stability and health is not valid? If so, why do we still have climate change?

You want a classed society built for the benefit of economic exploiters that doesn’t do all those things or at least tend towards them? How would that even work?

Also, value in capitalism meaning a specific thing of course for Marx. Not meaning “ultimate and only source of all goods that can be used”

Maybe it would be helpful if you provided an example of what kinda of significant new value creation is like in alternate frameworks that you feel are more accurate

Also, not sure if you feel like getting into this but Marx isn’t saying labor is the only input,l but that it’s the source of new value in a capitalist mode of production.

Marxism Leninism explicitly advocates for democratic centralism, I don’t really think that’s considered a permanent aspect of al Marxist traditions by most people.

Marxism is less a goal and more a method or framework.

Socialism and communism are stages or goals in that framework.

Marxism includes three main things generally speaking-
- dialectical materialism
- Marx’s economic critique of capitalism
- his political analysis / analysis of political change (class struggle)
