This was the second time I tried rendering in grayscale first! Painting with values is something I'm still learning about, but it's so fun to play around with lighting using grays and then see the whole thing come to life when you add the colors (and make some very needed adjustments)!

I redrew Leorio in the middle of the process because I wanted to push the expression a bit more, so here's the comparison between the two versions!

I like how he went from a pouty "Seeeee? I told you this was the answeeeer >:c" to "I TOLD YOU!!1 I TOLD YOU IT WAS 7 YOU FREAKING @#$%&!!"
