So what does a writer do on her day off (No2)? Goes out with a pair of pruners and fights brambles for two hours. (The plant variety, not the Jnr office assistant - who is also called Bramble). Shouts of 'ouch get off Bramble' may have caused the neighbours concern.

Finished reading the novel and pleased to report no major plot holes. So back to the editing of the final chapters. Today it won't be in the garden, I'd get blown away. So back in the study I go. Don't think I'll need the sun cream 🤣, more tea though.
