I got so excited thinking this was about a new monthly range, but I just misread it ;-;

It would be cool if the monthly range came back one day with modern doctors, and doctors 1-3. Probably never gonna happen since they pivoted to box sets, but I can dream.

I wanted O'Donnel as a companion after my first watch. I don't think the "Minister of War" ended up going anywhere though. Future episode? I doubt it. The Fisher King had a really cool design. Solid episode, same ranking. (7.5/10)

Typical base under siege storyline. I've always loved those types of stories, and this (mostly) delivers on that front. Another great cliffhanger too. I'm sensing a pattern so far for this season. Great mystery and suspense! (7.5/10)

This episode made me cry towards the end. I genuinely thought Davros wasn't bullshitting, much like The Doctor. Great subversion of expectations! The part with Clara in the Dalek was a highlight of the episode. Poor Clara (8/10)

Ehhhh... I did watch a cutdown version for this actually, and I enjoyed it a bit more then the original. Very back and forth location wise. The Doctor's fear of fire is a great callback to Inferno though! (7/10)
