A lovely run on Friday, checking roadworks and grit bins and taking in some of my favourite places. Looking towards and beyond Leeds city centre from Rawdon Billing. Snow-topped hills in North Yorkshire were visible to the NW. And no, we're not going to bulldoze it all, despite what some claim!

Sewing time! Working on a wearable toile of McCall's #M8450 for elder daughter's prom outfit. We've got two and a half weeks to get it ready, and she only has three more A level exams! (6 done so far).

Just about recovered from last week's London Marathon and now counting down sleeps to running the epic Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon for the Leeds Rhinos Foundation 🦏 7⃣

Let the taper commence! 20 miles done with a parkrun in the middle. 22 days to London and 36 to Leeds.

Longish run done (22km), just one more to go before London! Listened to 'Marathon Woman' by Kathrine Switzer from home to Otley, laughed and cried to 'Matters of Life and Death' by Nathaniel Dye up the big hill, then a mix of Corinne Bailey Rae songs for the last few miles.

Steady, sunny morning run took a little longer than planned but got me to parkrun in time to volunteer. Lovely to see so many crocuses and daffodils along the way. Just 50 days to the London Marathon 😶 www.justgiving.com/page/eleanor...

Run today felt tough but it's done. Week 9 of marathon training begins. Anyone else taking on both London and Leeds? I was only ever going to tackle one marathon a year but couldn't turn down a London place!

Another day, another long wait for a bus. First have at least acknowledged that recent timetable changes have made things worse rather than better. Hoping for some clear progress and more open conversations.

First West Yorkshire changed timetables in October without consultation and refused to listen to warnings about their plans. We're calling on them to rethink and restore our bus service. Late to school, can't get home from the shops or work? Please sign our petition. www.change.org/p/reinstate-...
