As a Palestinian girl, I’ve learned not to trust the smiling faces on product packaging, nor the flags waving in advertisements. Everything has become a commodity even our blood. Global companies sell our story as inspiration, as a trendy design on a T-shirt not as a living, bleeding cause.
Hot take: whether the new Superman movie (which I haven't seen yet) is pro-Palestine or not is like asking whether Target was queer/trans friendly or not. It may be, for YOU. It may even have products or characters that are meaningful on a personal level, and no one can take that away from you.
