If I’m being charitable, it’s probably because people who receive a lot of slurs block common misspellings and alt spellings. So anyone who’s blocked that slur? Probably also blocked it with @ inserted in place of the a, and £ in place of the f. And as a result, people who use it must get creative.

But hooboy, did a few hundred (mostly straight, white, cis) dudes ever have a totally normal reaction in the comments. Doing a great job of proving me wrong, fellas! Yikes.
