It’s insane that my Nation had to release a statement for those of us off reservation on what to do if we are harassed by ICE agents.
Native Americans.
The original people.
May be harassed because we don’t “look” like we belong here.
I fuckin hate this country.

Essential reading for Ministers Jean and Schulz - and oh, yes, anybody living downstream from the headwaters especially farmer and irrigators.
It's short and a greater explainer of the risks that arise when coal mining mobilizes selenium.
Selenium sits on thinnest line between health and hazard

After a decade of empty reconciliation talk, we're still pretty much in the same place, except now facing a fascist backlash to all things progressive
What does it tell you about Canada that every major political party committed itself to completing the TRC's 94 Calls to Action yet, 9 years in, only 13 have been completed—with no new completed calls whatsoever in 2023 or 2024? The failure of reconciliation has been, quite frankly, shameful.

In coming years, eco-apartheid will become more prominent worldwide as colonial violence is used to maintain and safeguard Western interests and profits. We are seeing this future in Gaza today.
