We are here to transform them.

So what does real inclusion look like?
It looks like leaders giving up power.
It looks like backing people publicly.
It looks like funding inclusion like it’s core business.

That’s not inclusion.
That’s branding.

Inclusion without power-sharing is just assimilation.

As a PoC and someone who now works in anti-racism and inclusion, I’ve seen how often we’re:

🔸 Asked to be visible, but not powerful
🔸 Asked to speak, but not be backed
🔸 Asked to lead, but not be paid for the labour

That moment taught me:
⚡ Power can erase your belonging: Power over
⚡ Politics enters our homes
⚡ Systems are not neutral

And it sparked a fire in my belly.

I was 6 when a red-haired woman came on TV and said Asians should go back to where they came from.That night, I heard my mum say “We might have to go back home.”

I remember my heart sinking. This was our home.
