As an aside, this is why I always make physical versions of my patterns to use as marketing assets. Not only does it help me test out the pattern, but it proves to the buyer that it’s possible to stitch in the first place and that I, as the pattern designer, am invested in cross-stitch as a medium

I hesitate to suggest this is AI because I truly don’t know what AI-generated cross stitch typically looks like (especially compared to knitting and crochet, which have more obvious tells). Either way, it’s incredibly poorly designed

ALSO I now have a tiny little section of my shop just for these kinds of patterns so that's fun (even thought it lays bare how much my e-commerce design talents leave something to be desired)
