it's kinda funny cos we actually did have a chatgpt assignment last semester too. but the point of that one was to ask questions where we knew the right answer but the right answer wasn't "absolute", so it couldn't just be like "what's 2+2" so you'd understand it doesn't actually know shit LMAO

Especially since the way genAI works is pattern recognition based without cognition for actual context using it as an "assistant" before actually learning how to do the stuff is like, objectively worse. You won't be able to tell if it's wrong

like, watching a 3 hour long series of videos on LinkedIn explaining the concepts, and the chatgpt assignments are all "ask chatgpt for help with this thing we barely touched on in class" I think she might just be kinda lazy
