Then I went back to read Secret Wars. Although Jim Shooter did some pretty questionable things at Marvel and DC, and even Valiant, he was always a good writer.

if it wasn't for Jim Shooter's comic script template I wouldn't have written my Mario 64 video.
My first experience with Jim Shooter's writing was playing F-Zero on SNES and finding the manual online. That manual came with a little mini comic from Valiant, and it was in both Japan & the US.
