super unfortunate that i'm 12 years old and the butt dermatomes are shaped like that 🎯
pls let me know the results!!! i'm curious 🔬
yeah board can also bend with the weather, etc, but it solves the immediate painting problem, and i haven't had issues with the bending if I mat it down or frame it or whatever for Serious Business ™️. you can do some sort of clear coat under the paper if chemical seep is a concern
low key wonder if you could like mask the back of the paper and just spray adhesive to a 3/4" margin on the back of the paper, stick it down to some board for painting, then pull it off after?? haven't ever tried
tbh hardboard is cheap as dirt even new (like $20-25 for a 4x8' from the hardware store) and you can cut it with a box cutter and some determination, so might not be a terrible solution if you don't mind having the slight increase in logistical challenges
yeah it's super annoyinnnnnggg. can kinda be a storage/selling/shipping issue, but when i didn't wanna deal with it i'd get tempered hardboard from the recycled building material center and just cut it to size, stick the paper to it with spray adhesive, and leave it there forever lmao

by stretch i guess i should specify like. fully around the edges of board with a staple gun, and i'd just calculate a margin i could lose when i then cut it off with a razor
