So less #elbowsup and more sacrifice Canada’s sovereignty to determine its own tax policies cause Trump had a tantrum. Didn’t take long for Mark Carney to break his promise to stand up for Canada. The digital tax was duly passed 2 years ago. He should be ashamed he bowed to Trump on this one.

Dear @governor.ca.gov I watched your ad asking Canadians to ignore Trump and come spend money in your state.
It doesn't work that way.
Your country threatened our sovereignty.
That's war.
Focus your ads on Trump voters: attacking a former ally will cost dearly.
In Canada we hold the line.

If that picture is real and accurate, I’m impressed. That’s an impressive action.
Sometimes, a single moment captures everything we stand for. Tonight, at Niagara Falls, we are shouting with lights: DON’T TRUMP CANADA!

Let’s be clear, what Poilievre is proposing - using the notwithstanding clause to change criminal justice in Canada- IS a step towards authoritarianism. All other things aside, even this alone utterly disqualifies Poilievre as a wannabe tyrant.

The study is at odds with the Trump regime's propaganda about immigrants & crime. (1)

While it is shocking that a purportedly democratic country is sending innocent people to a foreign prison without any due process, it is *also* very wrong to treat guilty people this way. The U.S. government is, at minimum, violating international law.

Can you imagine the nightmare? You've been locked up in one of the world's harshest prisons, full of violent gang & cartel members, all because you had a few tattoos?! Or because the government mixed up your name or ID # with someone else. Or they just don't care if you're innocent. Truly terrifying
