Day Seven - The Relic (Strength)
The Fool's Five Year Journey Day Seven The Relic (Strength) Strength is the card of resilience. It is associated with determination, bravery and internal struggle. One must have dedication in order to overcome obstacles and reach one's goal. Strength is about physical prowess and spiritual fortitude – the power that must be unleashed to achieve the impossible. Blood on your hands, but for once it’s not somebody else’s. It’s yours, coughed up as a reminder that the bomb inside your head is ticking along and you don’t know how long the fuse is. So you don’t stop, you push through the agonizing pain no matter the obstacle that’s sent to stop you, V. If there’s one thing that sets you apart from every other gonk that’s a wannabe edgerunner - it’s the sheer fortitude and strength you have when faced with insurmountable odds. Anyone else would have gone cyberpsycho by now, but not you. You’ve been through hell already, and it’s started to make you wiser, stronger in both mind and spirit. You can’t see the finish line yet, but you’re starting to think you've got the strength to make it there, V.

Day Six - Rock Bottom (The Tower)
The Fool's Five Year Journey Day Six Rock Bottom (The Tower) The Tower is an omen of radical change, chaos and destruction. The lightning striking The Tower signifies a return to the old order that lies buried under the ruins, and a new order that will rise from it. It is a symbol of tragedy, apocalypse, and self-destruction. How can the Fool free himself from the Devil? Can he root out his influence? The Fool may only find release through the sudden change represented by the Tower (16). The Tower is the ego fortress each of us has built around his beautiful inner core. Gray, cold and rock-hard, this fortress seems to protect but is really a prison. Sometimes only a monumental crisis can generate enough power to smash the walls of the Tower. On Card 16 we see an enlightening bolt striking this building. It has ejected the occupants who seem to be tumbling to their deaths. The crown indicates they were once proud rulers; now they are humbled by a force stronger than they. The Fool may need such a severe shakeup if he is to free himself, but the resulting revelation makes the painful experience worthwhile. The dark despair is blasted away in an instant, and the light of truth is free to shine down. Tragedy may as well be your middle name, V. If it weren’t for the fact tragedy is a fact of life in Night City, and now you’ve realized you’re nothin’ special in the long run. You may think you’ve got the answers, shit- you may think you can pull off the impossible. But the Sword of Damocles is always hanging above your head, and this time… you can’t escape the blade’s edge, after all - it’s got your name written all over it. But can you accept this, V? Will you give in, let the trash that is your grave bury you and your name forever? Or will you crawl out, inch by agonizing inch, humbled and ready to rebuild? Or maybe… maybe you finally did pull off the impossible. Only you didn’t know there was a catch. There always is after all. Out with the old, and in with the new… only that meant losing everything to break free. Question is, will it be worth it in the end? Are you truly free and is it the new start you wanted? Only you know for sure, V.

The Fool's FiVe Year Journey Blaze of Glory (The Chariot) The Chariot is always charging ahead despite being pulled by its steeds in opposite directions. The rider who steers it constantly reins in the light and dark sides of the soul with the help of Reason. To ride in The Chariot is to experience highs and lows – ups and downs. You think you’ve got it all, V and that you’re in control. People are starting to recognize your name, starting to recognize that when you fall, you pick yourself right back up and get back on the saddle. You’ve been dealt a shit hand, but that doesn’t deter you from charging forward to get your life back. But just who is driving the Chariot? Is it you, or is it the friend (enemy?) you’ve picked up that’s riding passenger? Or perhaps you’ve started to learn that to get out of this mess, to survive in Night City, you’ll need to work together to drive this car to victory.

Although she disagrees with many of his decisions, or finds them illogical (seriously, how can there be a rule against killing people if it's "not necessary"? That's one of the most fun parts!), Hylia thinks the ex-cop's rebellion against an entire city is tremendously attractive. In fact, now only feels comfortable with her own decisions when they have the moral approval of her new fiancé. Yeah, contradictory, ain't? Just like her. She could give you a whole twenty-minute speech about why blowing up a Petrochem plant and polluting an entire neighborhood is the best and most logical plan, only to conclude with, “But River wouldn't approve of that, so let's go with plan B, which is much more difficult”

The Fool's FiVe Year Journey Day Four - The Major Leagues (Justice) Justice is the card of conflict resolution. It proclaims the need for order, to see through lies and deceit, and a return to the natural state of affairs. Justice implies a just sentence, but also due process. Well V, you pulled it off. You've hit the Major Leagues but at what was the cost? You've got a target on your back and the clocks ticking. You've got choices to make, and not enough time to make them. You've always managed to stay true to yourself in this city, even as it tries to chip away at your soul and keep you in line with everyone else. But your actions have consequences, V. Question is - just what will you learn from those consequences?
