In mathematics we don't say "phase space" we say "cotangent bundle of the configuration space" and I think that's beautiful.

It can also be used to demonstrate parallel transport and the effect of curvature! Convenient, given that I use it to motivate the differential geometry used to formulate general relativity :-) 2/2
