National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
@nbcot.bsky.social
We certify the knowledge of occupational therapy professionals.
We work to ensure that occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants have the knowledge and skills they need to provide high-quality patient care.
Most Principle 9 violations involve NBCOT study tool copyright infringement. Uploading copyrighted NBCOT practice questions to sites like Quizlet or Facebook - or even saving NBCOT content uploaded by someone else - is a violation. #OTCertificationMatters #CopyrightInfringement

Principle 8 is all about patient privacy. Be careful about posting online. Always make sure no personal identifying information is visible in a photo or video that you share. Be cautious about what you discuss in a public space. #OTCertificationMatters

Did you know that, while NBCOT must have clear & convincing evidence of a violation of the Code of Conduct in order to take action, a violation does not always result in a sanction? NBCOT may dismiss a violation if action has been taken by another entity. #OTCertificationMatters
