SoF students Alyssa Cherow and Lila O'Dowd returned from New Zealand. They presented results of the HURA awards in oral presentations. Can you believe that radiata pine they're standing next to is only 2 years old?! We're very proud of our students and their amazing accomplishments!

Morning Tea is BACK and now on Tuesdays! We will be in the atrium tomorrow from 8:30am-11:30am! We’re thrilled to welcome the Coconino National Forest, who will be joining us with info, opportunities, and swag! They’ll also be sharing details about their Women in Wildland Fire Training program!

Classes have resumed in the School of Forestry building as of today (1/21/25)! Please note, classes involving computer labs will still be held at alternative locations. We’re excited to welcome students back to the building and appreciate your patience during the transition!

The SoF has suffered flooding that occurred overnight Sunday into Monday. Labs, offices, and classes were affected. We are working hard to make the building operational. We are working with NAU leadership, and the university is contributing resources to help with recovery efforts.
