Pubic hair management for nudists is pretty much like facial hair management for textiles; some are bearded, some are shaved, some are styled, some are more raw, usually looks better on men but we're in 2025.

Just a little snippet of the Star Wars Andor Season 2 video essay I'm working on.
This whole sequence with Cassian being captured by a splinter Rebel cell feels like it’s straight out of a critique of leftist infighting. He’s mistaken for an Imperial pilot and dragged into this abandoned group’s mess—an amateur band of rebels descending into paranoia, starvation, and constant bickering. I get why some people found this plot beat frustrating; Cassian just sits there watching them tear themselves apart. But honestly, I love that it’s a perfect illustration of what happens when leftist movements skip coalition-building, communication, and conflict resolution in favor of just fetishizing revolution. I’ve seen it happen so often in leftist movements, especially online—people latch onto the aesthetics of resistance without understanding the actual work that needs to be done. There’s this obsession with the idea of revolution, the spectacle of it, without the groundwork to make it sustainable or even humane. And more than that, there’s a complete lack of introspection. I’ve personally been on the receiving end of it—getting attacked by other leftists simply for speaking up about trans issues, accused of being the problem instead of actually being listened to. It’s a microcosm of the larger problem: so many are eager to jump to condemnation, to purity tests, to scapegoating, instead of actual conflict resolution or understanding marginalized perspectives. And it’s dangerous. When leftist movements refuse to address underlying biases—antisemitism, anti-Muslim, anti-transness, anti-Blackness, misogyny, queerphobia—they end up replicating the very hierarchies they claim to fight against. It’s exactly what this group of rebels embodies: flailing around with no cohesion, no solidarity, just rage and distrust. Andor nails this critique without falling into the usual Disney trap of painting revolutionaries as chaotic or evil (looking at you, Flag Smashers). Here, it’s not about justifying the system but highlighting the necessity of actual organizing.
