This post made me curious and we seem to be quite low compared to the rest of Europe. And not that far off the US ones even corporate is only 1% difference. Demolishing the US in federal VAT tho.

People are mostly mad about this price increase that they were told wasn't going to happen with the ACER deal. At one point the price was +2000% higher than the previous year. I understand it but SPs choice of hill to die on might have been the worst one they could have picked off the directives

If you earn 2million NOK or about 180k$ your tax rate is 44.8%
For fun i went to the tax authorities and used their 2024 tax calculator and said I made 100million and my tax that year would have been 47,3million rounded up. This is without tax breaks like home ownership, kids etc.
