Erm not necessarily, more to the point of a big name. Could have some big name coaches, etc. Naturally I think the spotlight shines on us more. Commercial opportunities I would imagine, we will have more options.

Torp, Eccles, Rudoni were fantastic. Rotating and constantly moving. Eccles passing range is growing, some of his passes Saturday were class. He gets unjust stick at times. Clattering O'Hare was what we were all needing to see aswell.

I agree. It is good, I am sure this image will crop up soon though! The proper one with avtual guy taking it haha

Happy to be told it's fake :)

That's debatable isn't it. They might be evergreens, so don't lose their leaves so to speak.

That a few presentations had to be made by multiple applicants, then Psychometric tests, etc. This have to be interpreted, I don't think it's as simple as just asking if they want the job now. We are trying to create an elite environment so I guess there is a more thorough vetting process too.

It's probably normal process and timescale to get this type of stuff done. Also, forgot to mention that we aren't taking about a low quality of applicants so I guess we are probably getting much more things into the contract and in place firstly. Reading the Gary Rowett interview, I'd also imagine

Recruiting in any job takes a while, not to mention a high profile football club. I think DK honestly wants to do it right, I'd imagine he will do his due diligence on the new coach and all accompanying coaches. I think because there is no football about, it seems to be taking longer. When

I Think taveres' time is up to be honest. I don't think he is at the standard we need. Back up yes, but in my eyes we don't need a back up we need a collective team who are pushing for a first team spot. I just don't think Tavares has the overall ability to be a starter.

So in theory we actually need 3 CM's. Unless Kai Andrews steps up and fills the gap which Allen will leave open. A natural number 10 for me also, Rudoni for me is an 8, someone with a bit of flair and important for me, be able to connect the midfield to attack.

Promoted this season, we can let him go in the summer. He will leave a massive hole in the midfield. The master at being in the right place at the right time, his simple movements and ball carrying abilities. So in my eyes, two CM's need to come in at least. I think Allen will be let go too.
November 20, 2024 at 5:01 PM
Agree with that. A progressive player in the Hamer mould, hard to come by. We do need someone to fill his role but also Sheaf and I think he will be gone in the summer. I am sure I read that we gave him the captaincy as a sweetener for this season with a gentleman's agreement that if we don't get

Coming in, in Jan to be honest. Buying in Jan always seems pretty tough and prices tend to be inflated.
November 20, 2024 at 4:55 PM
I agree, a combination of the both would be good. Da Silva technically is pretty good, good with his feet. But gets targeted at full back purely for his height. I'd move Fabio on too. Deffo backup needed for MVE, I agree on that. Whether that will happen in Jan, I don't know. I can see some loans

Support from day one. It could be so detrimental if they are coming into a toxic environment. I'm coming to terms with Robins being let go, and maybe it was the right decision. But we can't dwell on it now and look to the past.
November 20, 2024 at 7:42 AM
I think the support is split, it depends on where you look for the tone of the support. I've seen a lot being positive and will support the club as the club will always come first. But on the same hand, a lot having a negative feel. I think first and foremost whoever comes in needs to have the

See I don't feel the same. I think looking now, it might be a good appointment. Maybe we has hit our ceiling, maybe too much was happening behind the scenes and we were at risk of regressing. It seemed we were trying to make what DK would say positive change but Robins was pulling up the hand brake.

About coaches and assistants too. I suppose when hiring a head coach, you aren't just employing one person. It's the support staff aswell.
