Today we’ll get latest net immigration figures - They’ll show immigration for work is plummeting.

Why is this not part of the discussion on Rachel Reeves balancing her books & stalled growth?

For every 100,000 drop in net immigration, the OBR adds £7bn to the deficit. #r4today

Taking almost half a million children out of poverty is a very good thing, and it's ridiculous that Labour had to be dragged kicking and screaming to actually do it

Frustrating to see the fuel duty cut extended again. This is a policy that benefits the richest households much more than the poorest as they spend more on petrol. That's without even accounting for the environmental impact.

IMT recruitment even more competitve than last year. The Gov and NHS should hang their heads in shame at how they treat doctors.

Just wilful performative cruelty that is entirely out of step with the majority of British people.

How many Labour MPs got into politics in order to vote for stealing jewellery off of people seeking refuge from war and persecution?

Labour losing Runcorn was avoidable and as much a result of our party’s failures as Reform’s rise.

Now, we need to learn the right lessons, not double down on the same mistakes.

Cutting disability benefits and scrapping the Winter Fuel Allowance made voters abandon us. [1/3]

These local election results should kick Labour to be much bolder, much quicker, and tack away from Reform's agenda or risk much worse results in years to come incl GE2029

Time to call out that this distressing farce has been completely normalised.

So-called 'placeholder' jobs which are part and parcel of this process every year now, are completely unacceptable to hard-working individuals who deserve much better.

Economists urge Rachel Reeves to bend fiscal rules instead of cutting welfare.

Govt doesn't want to tax the rich. But imposed two child benefit cap, cut winter fuel payments, froze income tax thresholds.

Can't rebuild without boosting purchasing power of the bottom 50%. Must redistribute.

Concerning (although not entirely surprising) that the public accounts committee described NHS leaders as "out of ideas and remarkably complacent"

NHS desperately needs strong and dynamic leadership right now
