Timeline cleanse. Here’s my sweet pup napping. With so much darkness out there, we all gotta try to enjoy the sunny spots when we find them.

The Internet is kinda vague on this, but I found this comment on Reddit, so maybe it wasn’t the heat stroke causing me to hallucinate.

One thing I love about vote by mail / ballot box drop off in CA, is that they email you once your vote is counted so there’s no stress it didn’t go through.

It’s rough out there, but I hope all the good folks on here are able to find their metaphorical sunny spots, even if they’re narrow or disappear quickly or just enjoying a cat enjoying an actual sunny spot.

A big ol’ orb weaver caught a monarch butterfly in its web, in our yard. #Nature is hardcore.

Holy moly, she looks like she could be from my pup’s litter.

Based on my 8 year old’s art, I’d say there’s a greater than 0% chance she’s dabbled in psychedelics.

However bad your day or year or life is going, I want you to know that this is what I looked like in middle school, so I’m living proof that it gets better.

We said goodbye to our 17 year old tuxedo cat today. He was a sweet, affectionate, empathetic cat that my whole family loved.

It was the first time I had to make the decision to euthanize a pet. I wasn’t sure when or how to do it. I’m sure I’m not alone, so I wanted to share my experience.

It wasn’t quite Phish at Riviera Maya, but Ozomatli was pretty damn great! (They even got my kids dancing.) And the view was pretty damn beautiful!

Hits1 is the Top 40 pop Sirius radio station my daughters love. And they’re playing #Goose. If you thought the crowd was bad before, just you wait.

As we celebrate the final night of #Phish in Charleston tonight, NEVER FORGET Charleston 3.

Rubbing their gorgeous fairytale landscapes, delicious sandwiches, and vibrant night life in our faces?! Even their taco shops act like they’re all that just ‘cause they’re located in 16th century mason’s guild halls. As for me? I’ll stick to my shit quality of life thank you very much!

Europeans have really figured out public transportation. We’re in Rotterdam and took the metro directly from the city center to the beach. Pretty damn cool.

Lauterbrunnen is far more developed and touristy than when I first visited 21 years ago, but it’s still quite possibly the most beautiful place I’ve ever been to.

After spending four days in Paris and the past two in Interlaken, I feel like Europeans have figured out a lot of things. Outdoor cafes, baguettes, public transportation, healthcare. But judging from this Lauterbrunnen bathroom sign I saw, they also like to shit while standing on top of toilets.

It’s been a really incredible and creatively inspiring 24 hours in San Francisco. Had a couple great meals. One at K Soul Chicken (Korean fried chicken) and Cordon Bleu (Vietnamese 5 spice chicken, kebabs, and some imperial rolls). And had a blast at Goose last night. Masonic is an amazing venue!

Started the morning at the Japanese Tea Gardens, which are this incredible space of order and planning in the middle of wildness and the randomness of nature. Such a beautiful, relaxing, creatively inspiring space.
