“To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly and compassionately with one another and to preserve and cherish that pale blue dot, the only home we've ever known." -Carl Sagan
Hey, proud Kentuckian and democrat here. Kentucky also voted for a democrat governor twice since 2016. People are suffering. Which sucks. Let’s keep the faith.

Cal will get booed because he is the head coach of an opposing team trying to beat Kentucky in league play. This isn’t his “high point.” If he wanted to come back with a clarion team, sure, retire his jersey and pat him on the back.

But I know we are both really thankful Kentucky got out of the burning house just in time. Unfortunate Arkansas had to be the program to go running in, but it is what it is.

Alright I’ll take that.

Somebody will jam their finger and they will stop doing it.

lol just wishful thinking on my end. I haven’t seen any mock drafts since the season start, but Oweh has been a lot better this year than thought. Selfishly I hope he returns to Kentucky next year. But if he gets drafted he deserves it

Oweh wants to come back next year and be an all American . But yeah Jax or the other guys.

Didn’t we play Bryce in tournament when he was at providence?

I crawled under a rock after 2015, so I don’t remember fans calling for him gone but I’m sure some said so. I questioned if he’d get another final four/title after 2018. And after 9-16 was when I started wondering if it’d be best for him to leave.

That said, maybe stoops will get offered to take over a winning mid major like cincy, Memphis or UCF. Or take an ACC job like NC state. Don’t know which programs might be shopping, just throwing out some possible programs he might leave for.

Do you really think Cal knew when to go? To me all of his moves in that situation was trying to gain leverage over Mitch to get stuff he wanted (Brad on staff, bball practice facility). I don’t think he calculated that Mitch was ready to let him leave.

I think it had more to do with dividing the fan base. Anything one of those two did or said, won or lost, from that point on pissed off half the fan base.
Cal also drove off the donors. Stoops has not..yet. Not saying I have a lot of faith Stoops can put this right tho

My main point is a don’t have much hope in the guy who has somewhat demonstrated an inability to be a successful coach in the NIL/portal era.
November 30, 2024 at 6:29 PM
I have a hard time seeing this get turned around in the portal. The reality is you have to recruit and develop. You portal to strengthen the weak spots. My biggest worry is the culture problem which has only gotten worse every year since we’ve been getting the transfers in.
