Last week, I got to represent @mhafhs.bsky.social on a staff ride to Orkney as part of the Högre Officersprogrammet course. We visited remains of sites that were important during WW2, and they proved to be an excellent archaeological resource for military education! @forsvarshogskolan.bsky.social

On Wednesday, I joined Högre Officersprogrammet on a staff ride to Älvsnabben, an island in the Stockholm archipelago. We discussed the islands historical and contemporary strategic importance, and visited the monument commemorating its role in Swedens naval history. A great experience!
