We got to look at abeaver lodge up close today. We also got to see several muskrat lodges as well. Beavers are a keystone species because their habitats support so many other species. We love our beavers at Wonderland and yes, we make a lot of inappropriate beaver jokes. 😜🦫❤️

Cold weather means I feel that Midwestern urge to make two types of chili for dinner along with the kitchen witch urge to make broths from the mushrooms I foraged and ancestral herbs I grew. I wish I could spend many days in the kitchen like a happy little gnome.
