I'm on board with everything else and fully agree that GM needs to make a formal apology and work on addressing their biases and correcting their behavior for the future. This whole situation is messed up and I sympathize with everyone harmed by it.

I appreciate that BIPOC folks feel less seen, and that is valid criticism. I'm not telling anyone how to feel nor am I attempting to erase anyone's opinions. I was very specific about a singular claim which I know to be false. That's what I took issue with.

First of all, I'm not white. You could do me the courtesy of spending 5 seconds learning who I am before telling me what my ethnicity is.
