I am in the midst of completing tenancy referencing to move, and to even get to someone on a phone, you have to first get through an AI chatbot, then figure out how to get it to pass you to an "Agent" chat, and then only they can give you a PIN number to access telephone support.

Insane.

this is interesting also because English as a language is low-context, so you have to over-engineer things to be specific

vs something like Japanese, which is very high-context - and ends up being more economical in words a lot of the time because of this. fun!
