same! i also want something that explains WHY things are done the way they are, which is vital for me in learning languages. if i know the roots, the whys/hows, i'm way more likely to remember things than just trying to rote-memorize a structure i don't understand

ugh oh NO that's so frustrating. imo, i'm not sure i'm really making much progress, but sometimes it feels nice to just... do something, to keep up a little routine
