Previously read the book Babel. Very interesting alternate universe Brittish Empire in the 1800's adding a slight magic system revolving around silver and linguistics. We'll written, compelling characters, that also make comments on the current political climate along race and gender. 5 ☆'s

Read the book Seveneves by Neal Stephenson. Very well written hard, technical sci-fi that stuck true to the challenges that the human race would find in the situation of the moon becoming both their downfall and savior. I enjoyed 95% of the material and recommend it to anyone looking to read sci-fi.

Read Crying in H-Mart. While I am neither a mother nor daughter I was able to identify with some of the threads in the relationship that I experienced in my own relationship with my parents. While, not one to one, it was a good read and I enjoyed the continual call back to food and emotion and bond.

Finished Project: Hail Mary. What a very fun, well written, sci-fi story. LOVED the bouncing POV of the main character. The science was fun and understandable, the other characters were fantastic, and the ending really fun. 5 ☆ Do read.

Finished Will of the Many - started slow, especially for the main character but turned out to be a very enjoyable book. I need more of this series so I can understand what the hell is going on at the end. Definitely recommend, don't give up at the slow start.

Finished When the Moon Hatched. What a fantastic fantasy romance novel, ended with a cliffhanger but makes me look forward to the sequel in October. Compelling characters, good world building, fun magic systems, and interesting premise all around. 5 stars. Highly recommend.

Completed Sword of Kaigen, what a book. Well written, compelling, characters that grip you, move you, and you absolutely feel their pain and happiness. The setting is fantastic and immediately feels lived in. Definitely deals with some heavy topics, but nothing done for no reason. Please read!

Finished the book Travel Light. Really quick and refreshing novella after reading Name of the Rose. I liked the progression of the main character and enjoyed her journey of self discovery and figuring out her internal identity after believing she was something else others wanted her to be.

Finished reading The Name of the Rose. Legitimately one of the harder reads I have done. 2nd half of the book shines compared to the first. An interesting, if fever dream-like, read that is different than most stuff I normally would pick up. 8/10, worth reading just for the descriptions alone.
