Lately, I've been motivated to draw exclusively in my sketchbook. I started this one in June and I'm somehow ALMOST DONE with it?

Okay. Now that I have your attention: recently I learned that one of my jobs is cutting back on staffing, which means I'm out of a job until the fall semester begins. So, I'm in actual very big need of your help and support.

Every little bit helps, so I appreciate everything 🤼‍♂️
A reminder for when people in charge don't value you and what you can do for them, other people will-- and I should remember to value myself and my skills. There's an audience out there for all of us human creators. Make the work that you believe in, and eventually you will be undeniable. Maybe this event is continuing the catalyst that was earlier this year (broken-record.exe). It's what I needed to push through to my *next form.* Maybe the idea of a meager amount of financial security I was receiving from this side job was holding me back. Maybe I was holding myself back because it was the safe thing to do. Like, I don't have the financial base to go wild here, but I've been backed into a corner before. The only thing to do is to push back and swing big. Regardless, only you can help me stop forest fires (Link in the anchor post).
