I found a cool camera asset (Intergral) that allows more realistic DoF by jittering the camera position.

went to an arcade nearby, it's like 20 euros for 2 hours or 30 for the whole day. the paid machines have 99+ credit in them so u only play for time. the SDVX machines could be a little better maintained but it's playable (and the aux works!). might take a day off […]

i got vrsl gi hooked up to my rain shader. only real difficult thing left to do is particle collisions. not sure if i go for the depth camera route or something more esoteric with SDFs. performance of the particles in vrchat is pretty negligible compared to everything else
