Took a trip last weekend to visit the New York Botanical Gardens Orchid Show and look what I found! Jade vine (Stongylodon macrobotrys). A blue sky day for sure!

Here in CT, U.S.A. snowdrops are out, not much else. Blustery winds are howling. Rain on the way. This is how I cope!

The dark purple Iris reticulata are poking their noses out of the ground on the south side of the house! I watch them constantly. If the weather holds, they will be blooming soon. Thank God for flowers. May we have the same tenacity as the irises to push forward...

I am patiently waiting for my 'Cream Beauty' crocuses to blossom while I watch my country crash and burn. Thank God for flowers.

Love this Iris 'Katherine Hodgkin'. It should be blooming here in CT, U.S.A. within a month! Flowers keep me going in these very troubled times.
