Today is my birthday. I wish I could look forward to a yr of thoughtful progress. But no. It feels like a birthday from the past-- 1969, maybe, turning 18 while my fellow grads were being drafted and sent to Vietnam. I am trying to focus on two things: #1) Resisting in all possible ways and #2) joy.
