My name is actually Neal. I'm married and living in central Kentucky. I have multiple hobbies and interests: Transformers, DND, AEW, ps5, fish keeping, horticulture, wood working/carpentry. I'm a dad joke connoisseur. This page may be all over the place
I got this 90 gallon tank and stand for free. I'm planning to deep clean the tank and refinish the stand. Already test cleaned a few places with clr to see how easy/hard it'll be. Seems like it should clean up nice.

The old man and I have started walking every saturday morning. The trail we were on today is paved and is a .6 mile loop. We made 3 laps before he was worn out.

He's 13 and on joint supplements. By the middle of lap 2 he was trailing behind. Poor guy needed help into the car.

About mid August we went through a drought. My yard was almost brown. From the road it looked cut and kept so I didn't mow. It finally rained a steady downpour all week long. Today I got up early and mowed. It was much worse than it thought. Nothing but crabgrass seed heads. Now it's beautiful again

Actually it sticks into the potting soil. So it's stuck in the pot with the silver squill giving both the plant and the jar extra light

Since my 1 gallon pickle jar breeding tank is no longer needed I threw some snails and shrimp in it and brought it to work. It now resides on my desk

I made myself mow today after work. Set the deck to the highest and ran over the yard as quickly as I could. It's rough. Real rough. But so far weather is showing Saturday to be pretty nice. So set it back to normal and hit it again Saturday to make it look perfect

Rain during the week. That's fine. But please stop raining on the weekend. It's been 3 weeks. I need to mow!

I got my haslab omega. No cracks or internals issues thankfully. No idea what to do with the extra base and stand when in omega mode, so I slapped my OG on it. And it's perfect height really. Just need someone to design a printable piece that will secure the original to this stand.

Please someone

Been so busy with my fish and aquariums I forget to document and post. However I wanted to show this guppy. It's from my first ever liter that was in my nursery. He's a bit stressed since I just netted him and put him in a jar to transport. But look how pretty.

And also to try and cut down on the algae formation that clogs the pipes up I've wrapped my white barrels with a tarp to keep sunlight out as best I can. Not sure it will work but I feel like it should

Such a tight cramped space but I got everything plumbed in. Including a ball valve directly under the barrels to collect and evacuate sediment, as well as another ball valve under the pipe for the faucet that I connected to the overflow. Should be freeze free now when I open all the valves

Went to Lowe's and got everything I needed to replace the whole run. When I began cutting I quickly realized exactly how bad the damage was.

This was the results of removing the whole run. It just crumbles to pieces

This is what the piping looked like underneath. A 2 inch PVC pipe running from my barrels to the faucet and a 1½inch PVC over flow that connected to my sump pump output.

First looks all I saw was the complete snap there in the middle. But look closer... Lots of stress fractures

I set up rain barrels on my deck a few years ago. Typically during winter I disconnect my hose and open my faucet to allow drainage and it hasn't been an issue. This year it was definitely an issue. The pipes held too much water and froze. Disaster ensued. So today I set out to repair it

There's so many. I got them in my nursery tank with my guppy fry. I don't expect a 100% survival rate. But I think I need a bigger nursery tank.

I have no clue what I'm going to do with all these fry. Good gracious

My female black Molly got big in November. She turned silver and you could see her scales with how big she was. She never got smaller so a week ago I put her in a hospital tank with medicine. Come home from work today to 3 babies in the tank. Put her in this birthing trap and this is an hour later.

Yes that was it. Thank you.

Been wanting to see it again because there's 2 characters I have no clue who they are and it's been bugging me lol. It's these 2

Ok #fishsky I need help.

Way back when Petco let me take babies home for free I got some guppy babies and raised them. This tank has what I thought was 2 males and 3 females. But this one female is the weirdest patterned one I've ever seen.

I'm starting to wonder if she's even a guppy. Help please

My Walmart has about 6 ss86 bumblebees and they were marked down to $15 so I easily snatched one up. It's so compact in car mode. It's crazy

And of course his gun was in that tissue paper and because of @nistuff.bsky.social I sang the seeeeecret saaatchel song

I may have been a little too ambitious and disregarded the actual size of the terrarium lol

A lot of left over
