Fun thread about racing games that I just love the graphics of. One I just never get bored of seeing in action.
Game 1) World Driver Championship.
Love the draw distance, trackside detail and general colours here. Cars look great too. Super smooth performance also.

Yesterday I intended to play N64 but ended up stuck on Dead Island! Chapter 7 now, and it's fairly good fun.
Does remind me how much pointless crap is thrown into these open world games though.

I bought this on release and still have it. My favourite 3D platform game of all time.
Released in North America 24 years ago today, one of my favourite PS2 games: Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy.

I bought this on release and still have it. My favourite 3D platform game of all time.
Prime 4 looks great. But I'm not sure if I want to play it at 30fps so will hold off until I get a Switch 2.

Great lighting but I don't at all like how this looked in motion. A blurry mess for me, 30fps didn't cut it. The first game is still the best to play.
But, I do want to revisit them.

Jikkyou J.League Perfect Striker 2, Get Bass and Shutokou Battle all have one weird thing in common, I got them all delivered to me in hospital in 1999.
I spent the summer fishing with a load of old blokes in hospital gowns. Was quite a summer!

This clip will always remind me of why the original Forza Horizon is the best one. No other has this quality of racing. Removing the solid walls ruined the series.
