I hope you'll find this platform more friendly and more tolerant. Here, on BSky, you have access to much more moderation tool and you can control your feed. And the BSky moderation already blocked some hatred accounts very fast ! 👐

Nothing to be proud for this last round. The kid was playing too fastly and didn't even looked to be interested in chess... I told him some nice words after the game.
That's not a day I'm proud...

First time I have such a bad tournament since I re-started to play OTB chess...
For the round 3, I'm facing a 7 years old kid. I noticed him he played fastly and was losing very badly his first two games...
Hopefully I won the last game easily.

Critical position was that... Usually, I'm playing quite conservatively, but here I thought there was a big opportunity to sacrifice the bishop to open the position of Black's king.

How much should we play?
Danish Gambit, I was surprised a 1700 opponent would play that. I thought for a while, and I was surprised because I thought I was going to win a pawn after Bxf3 Bxf3 Qxd4 Qxd4 Nxd4 Bxc6 but I have Nc3+.
I had also Bxf3 Bxf3 Qxd4 Bxc3 but I haven't seen it was a check 😭😭😭

1) it's exploiting a pin.
2) not a queen sacrifice, it's a removing the guard theme.
For me, a queen sacrifice is when you win a positional advantage after the sacrifice.

I'm using a lot Chesstempo but I haven't noticed they're showing castling is still available. Do you have some examples?
