It's a 3 round tournament, 50min+10s/move. Recently I had good positions in these tournament, but sometimes, I failed to convert because of time trouble.

I have another question for you dear #chesspunks. What do you think of the playability of this line in the Scotch

1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.d4 exd4 4.Nxd4 Nf6 5.Nc3

Here main line is Bb4 but it's well known by White and very solid.

What do you think of Nxe4 Nxe4 and Qe7 to pin the knight ?

What is your best official OTB miniature you've played ? Here's mine against a 1661 player before the rating increase that happened in 2024.

Here, on the lichess db, only 17% games found the tactic !

And it's a quite common mistake for Black, because 17% games played Qh5, and apart that, Black played Bh5 64% of time, which is a positional mistake.

That remind me this position I had. Not for the "do not play checkers" advice, but for the fact if you want to trap a Queen, it's better to block all the exit !

Here, gxh3 is good but there is a better move!

What do you think about online correspondence chess? How much is it useful for improvement?

I have two lichess accounts. On my main account, I play 4 correspondence games from #Lichess45r5 league.

But on my secondary fun account, I gave me a new challenge. Start a new correspondence game everyday!
