Oh don't worry about watching the debuff timer! If you have long timer there's no punishment for standing on a spotlight early while a short timer takes it, so just camp your spotlight after the in/out and fuggedaboudit ^^

Everything going on during funky floor 1 tends to take a bit of time, it's arguably one of the hardest mechanic sets there just because of how obtuse reading some of it can be- so don't worry too much about messing it up, people are probably expecting problems there in a fresh if anything ^^

Keep a close eye on the strats listed in the party finder's description, refer to guides (probably Hector Hectorson's for M5S imo) or ask a fellow raider when you're confused about something, and just generally try your best, and you're honestly already doing better than 90% of PF lol

Oh of course! I wasn't trying to say "join a clear party right away", I was just using it as part of the example for my own usual experiences with how PFs tend to go in certain types of parties- sorry for any potential confusion due to weird wording! ^^'

As a relatively new raider myself, the best advice I can think to give you is that while joining a clear/prog pf as an uncleared player yourself might make you feel like a clown joining a party of seven "competent players", everyone in that party can- or *will*- do dumber stuff than you. Genuinely.
