Jack was a local busker. I'd often chat with him and have a ciggy. A really nice bloke and a very good guitarist who always played a bit of Segovia for me.

Today's scan comes from the hoe game against Chelsea in April 1953 and despite the keeper having two defenders on the line Doug Lishman heads it in. He's out of the picture but Goring and Logie make it into the shot.

Today's Arsenal scan shows the Swedish national team having a walk around the pitch at Highbury before their international match there against England in 1947. Featuring all three of the famed Nordahl brothers (Gunnar, Bertil and Knut) , Gunnar (ironically) scored for Sweden.
